He studied decoration at the Vakalo School (1968-1971) and painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts and fresco (1974-1979). He draws his subjects from the familiar environment of every-day life. His paintings are dominated by the use of semitones that aims at balancing of colors and three-dimensional space.

Since 1989 he teaches at the Technological Educational Institution of Athens. He has published various articles. He is member of the Figurative Arts Chamber of Greece.
