Special Information for the Artist
He studied first close to the Kalymnian painter S. Magklis and then at the Athens School of Fine Arts. In 1891-1892, he studied at the Munich Academy under N. Gyzis. In 1893, he returned to Athens and after a while he settled in Kalymnos. His themes are the portraits and the life of sponge divers. His works can be found in the EPMAS and in the collection Koutlidis.
