Dimitris Andreadakis was born in 1964 in Chania of Crete. He studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts, under Dimitris Mytaras (1985-1991). From 1991 to 1996, he was a postgraduate student at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, where he was taught by P. Carron and V. Velickovic. During his undergraduate and postgraduate studies, he received scholarships from the Greek State Scholarship Foundation, the French Government, the Onassis Foundation and the Leventis Foundation. Works by Dimitris Andreadakis can be found in Koukoutsakis Gallery, the Frysira Vlassis Collection, the Stelios Bergeles Collection and in numerous other private collections in Greece and other countries.
