Special Information for the Artist
He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1977-1982) under P. Tetsis.
His paintings are characterized by a romantic mood. Initially, his dominant theme was that of a woman ideally depicted in a landscape or room. Gradually he moved more and more to still lives and architectural subjects. The colours in his works are warm and repeating motifs usually prevail.
Solo exhibitions: Nees Morfes (1988, 1991, 1995), French Institute (Athens 1994), Wigmore Fine Arts Gallery (London, 1996).
