Special Information for the Artist
He studied painting at Athens School of Fine arts, graduating in 1940. His placement in the Archaeological Museum was major contribution to his artistic education, as he cultivated his artistic searches through the designing clarity and the knowledge of synthetic harmony. Until 1970 he was painting with oil and water colours, and his subjects were mainly compositions with one or more human forms, landscapes and still life paintings.
He presented his work in individual exhibitions ("Keraia" 1966, Ora 1969, 1978, Pagkritio School 1972, «Nees Morfes» 1975, Ariadni 1990, Palace Thessaloniki 1993) and also participated in group exhibitions. He published articles on questions of art in magazines and newspapers. He was member of EETE.
