Special Information for the Artist
Neapoli 1862-Athens 1929.
An artist with a great interest in war scenes and landscape, who studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts of Munich close to Gyzis. He presented his works for the first time in Munich and when he returned in Greece dealt with portrait and landscapes. In order to earn a living he made copies of Byzantine works, murals and mosaics. He also, during 1919-1922, painted war scenes and dealt with anthographies.
