Special Information for the Artist
Anna Filini was born in Athens.
She lived 6 years in Milan, where she graduated of Architecture School, in 1969. She also attended courses of nude at Brera. Then she lived in Berlin until 1974. Since then she lives and works in Athens.
In 1991 she presented in "Polyplano" her first solo exhibition.
In 1993 she exhibited in the House of Cyprus, in Athens, the cycle "Painting Odysseus", which was published with her poems, publications "Agrostis".
In September 1993 presented the same work in Ithaca, in the global conference of the Odysseia.
In 1994 she presented at "Vourkariani" of Tzia, the series "Bays of Kea" and she also published a book with the same title which appeared with the exhibition’s paintings and prose.
In 1995 she exhibited in Centre Women’s Hall FFBIZ, in Berlin.
She has also participated in group exhibitions.
The current exhibition in Athens, in the hall space Kreonidis entitled "Geography-mountains of islands".
