Special Information for the Artist
She was born in Athens. She studied painting- freehand drawing- linear drawing-architectural design, advertising, graphic arts, art history and decoration (interior-exterior) at “Free Faculty of applied Arts-Vakalo”, specialised in applied graphic arts. She attended courses- seminars of graphic arts (computer’s program). She also studied close to K. Andreou (sculptor-painter- engraver) for 3 years. She attended courses of portrait (painting portraits) and was dealt professionally with outdoor painting. Worked with advertising agencies-magazines (as a graphic artist) and she is a member of the Journalism Association, as an art journalist. Her illustrations can be found in magazines and published children’s books. She has also created ceramics.
Worked for the Olympic Games of Athens 2004- group of costume design for the Opening ceremony- participated in the design of certain handouts, Athens 2004. She also participated in many group exhibitions with excellent critiques- her works can be found in several collections. She lives and works in Athens.
Professional activity:
1. Outdoor painting (participation in Piazza – haunt of outdoor painters) during the summer months.
2. Along with painting he has worked (permanent partner) as Art director - Graphic designer in magazines and advertising agencies
3. Painting - sketches (... and wrote articles for decoration and artistic creations) in magazines.
4. Creation of titles (in children's book illustrations).
