Special Information for the Artist
He attended courses of painting with Parthenis in Corfu. He dealt with the landscape and portraits while later on he passed into abstractive compositions. His work is characterized by his attachment in the impressionistic tendencies with colour and light as main subject, and he tries to compose the instant and fleeting in his paintings and precarious and variable as well. In 1977 he was organized his retrospective report of work, in the Room of Art Corfu.
He took part in group exhibitions (Salon des Independants 1924, 1929, 1939, 1945, Exposition Internationale, Paris 1937, Pan-Hellenic 1940) while he has exposed his work with “Societé des Peintres du Paris Moderne” since 1925.
