Special Information for the Artist
He is a painter and graphic designer. He was born in Nicosia, in 1940.
He studied painting at the “School of Fine Arts” (1959-1965) with teachers G. Mavroidis and P. Tetsis and then graphic design and set design for television at “Thomson Foundation TV College”, Glasgow (1973-1974). He is an artist with a special engagement and performance in graphic arts.
In his earlier works, he moves on climate geometric trends and constructivist types.
He has presented his work in solo exhibitions and he has participated in numerous group exhibitions. His works can be found in Cyprus. He worked in Cyprus in the secondary education as a designer of "Experimental Stage" of Nicosia, and since 1975, he settled permanently in Athens, working at NET channel as the Head of Graphic Design. He has also dealt with the illustration of books and magazines and has painted the covers of books and records and posters. He is a member of EETE (Chamber of Fine Arts).
