Special Information for the Artist
He completed his general studies in Athens at the decade of 50s. In 1958 he was assigned to design and draw suits for opera of G.B. Pergolesi Serba Patroba. He left Greece and travelled to bigger theatrical centres of Europe in order to get inspired. He returns in Greece in 1962 where he undertakes a figurative proposal of musical inspection ` Beautiful city of M. Theodoraki, M. Kakogianni and Bost. He collaborated with J. Dassin, M. Mercouri and N. Koyrkoylo in the work ` Opera of Penny of' V. Brecht. After 1980 he scales down his theatrical collaborations and is dedicated in painting.
He is an important painter that on scene creates drawing events in progress, environments, constitutes with volumes and colours figurative myths, narrations, adventures of life, ideological facts. His painting is aggressive, ideological, and symbolic. His painting makes you upset, shaking, holds you in derision, avoiding you to get sleep. He has presented his work in individual exhibitions (Museum Vorres 1991, «Nees Morfes» 1996, Selini 1996, Mylos Thessalonica 1997, Zouboulakis 1999).
