Special Information for the Artist
She was born in Athens in 1921 and died in London in 1988. Self-taught, began painting in 1950, finding a more spiritual way in the world of art. Her painting is moving in the abstract expressionism of the "School of New York» (action painting), with explosive and vibrant colors. She never exhibited during her lifetime. In 1990 the Goulandris-Horn Foundation organized an exhibition with her work. Her works can be found at the Goulandris-Horn Foundation.
