Special Information for the Artist
Born in Nostimo of Evritania, in 1939.
He studied at the School of Fine Arts of Athens (1959-1964) painting , under G. Morali and G. Mavroidis, and art icons (1968-1970) under K. Georgakopoulos, T. Xynopoulos.
Through his paintings seek the transformation of both the ancient Greek mythology and the historical and everyday reality into a personal expressive code surreal texture, which is governed by a strong ironic and critical attitude towards the modern lifestyle. His painting is distinguished by its emphasis on morphoplastic power of color and expressionist nature of the whole.
He has presented his work in solo exhibitions:
