Special Information for the Artist
Born in Athens, in 1958.
She studied painting at the School of Fine Arts of Athens under N. Kessanlis and D. Mitaras. She also attended courses of scenery under G. Ziakas and engraving under G. Milios.
Her work spans in multiple fields of action (painting, installations, visual environments, poetry, illustration) and has a pilot's available both in the choice of topics and materials. Starting from anthropocentric reports, compositions are becoming increasingly simple and abstract, and based on black and white contrasts and spontaneity of writing. She has conducted a visual environment with the main theme of confrontation between reality and utopia.
She has presented her work in solo exhibitions:
