Special Information for the Artist
He was born in Athens at 1950. He studied architecture in Florence, mosaic in Ravenna (1972-1982), and free education mosaics and icons in Athens. He was originally a series of mosaic, which, drawing patterns and themes from ancient Greek art, imitating the style of fragments of archaeological findings, reached a remarkable decorative effects. In the late 80's went to his painting easel with a playful and surreal mood. Without losing the decorative style, created complex compositions with strong chromatic scales and innovative typological conjugates. Later he turned to the landscape, with views of imaginary cities, spontaneous and most naive brain using the lessons of naif paintings.
