Stefanos Petridis lived in Thessaloniki until 1978 and then studied medicine and painting in Berlin, where he lived and worked until 1993, as a student of Diehl and Hoedicke. In 1988 he studied for six months at the Art Students League in New York as a student of Hector Diaz. Today he lives and works on the island of Paros.
