Special Information for the Artist
He studied painting and engraving at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1968 - 1973) under N. Nikolaou and K. Grammatikopoulos. From 1973 to 1980, he lived in Mithimna of Lesvos, where he worked on icons. He studied western art at the Troyes, France. His work moves in the frames of realism and stands out for the direct descriptions and the clarity of the expression means. Gradually, imposes a paranormal atmosphere with symbolic extensions, nostalgic mood and tranquility, poetic use of the light and stillness of the figures.
