Special Information for the Artist
Christos Simatos was born in Athens in 1977.
He studied at the School of Fine Arts (1997), with a scholarship of IKY with teachers, John Psychopaidis, Marios Spiliopoulos and Manolis Babousis. He attended courses in painting and photography in UCM Facultad Bellas Artes in Madrid (2000). He continued his studies at the Master of Fine Arts in the School of Fine Arts (2005-2007) with Professor, Tassos Christakis, Marios Spiliopoulos and Zafos Xagoraris.
In 2009, he presented his first solo exhibition at the Art Gallery of Athens. He has participated in group exhibitions. He deals with photography as well as with design and with the implementing of websites.
