He was born in Istanbul, in
Son of painter, studied painting at the School of Fine Arts ( 1893-1899 ) with teacher Nikiforos Lytras, and engraving with teacher N. Fermpos. During the school year 1895-1896, he took honors in the woodcut. After completing his studies and until 1934, he worked in his laboratory store in Athens, doing mainly woodcuts i n standing timber for the pictorial forms, engravings and medals. In 1931, he was nominated for election to the office of Fine Arts Engraving with fellow candidates, G. Kefallinos, A. Theodoropoulos, L. Kogevinas and J. Buchan.
He painted portraits, landscapes, still-life painitngs, flowers, genre painting themes and icons and portraits engraved on wood and different mineral composition. His painting and engraving inspired by the teaching of Nikiforos Lytras and N. Fermpos. His works seem immediately comfortable in design and the harmony of colors, which contribute to the successful structure of the composition.
He permanently exhibited his works in his workshop, participating only once in an exhibition ("TEC", 1939). He was a member of "TEC".
