BIOGRAPHY

He was born in Athens, in 1938.

From 1956 to 1962, he studied painting and engraving at École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. In 1969, he travels to London, where he embarks prints in various art academies in the city. He is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts and Fine Arts Chamber.

In his painting uses oil paints, tempera, pastel, acrylic, silver leaf and engraving works in lithographs and engravings. His art is anthropocentric, with the female figure to dominate. Typically uses recurring symbolic motifs. The pervasive atmosphere of love and poetic mystery give the space a stage personality make him a distant and almost unreal. Other characteristics are the color richness, the intensity of colors and clear outlines.

He has presented his work to the Greek public in 1960 with participation in the group exhibition of "Pan-hellenic, the first solo exhibition took place at Gallery "Astor" in Athens in 1966. Since then they have recorded more than twenty solo exhibitions in Greece and abroad, as is the number of group exhibitions, which exceeds fifty, carried out within and across borders.

His works can be found in public collections, such as the National Gallery and Alexandros Soutzos, Gallery Averoff Museum North, Musée d'Art Moderne in Paris, but also in private collections in Greece and abroad, etc.
