Katerina Zaka was born in Psachna of Evoia, where she remained until 1966. She studied painting at the College of Art of Heidelberg, in Berlin under Carl Rosenberg and Rhode Island. Her work, abroad, has shown in solo exhibitions in galleries "K.U.K" of Berlin in the group "F.B.K", also in Berlin at the "American House". Painting by Katerina Zaka has gone through several phases during a fertile course. The common denominator of all efforts, remains the abstract mood and the expressionistic dynamism. Essentially used pure colors, warm and cold, which are interwoven, creating intense controversy. Thus intensifies the expressionist spirit and enshrined the intense dynamism of the composition.
