Special Information for the Artist
Evangelos Zartaloudis was born in 1957 in Piraeus. He was not yet ten years old, when he attended drawing and painting courses close to Vasileios Zenetzis. In 1974, he decided to go to the School of Fine Arts (ASFA) in Athens (under John Moralis), but a few years later he abandoned painting in order to study Engineering. In 1988, he returned to painting and has since been working as a painter until today. In 1990, he studied engraving under Fotios Mastichiadis. He also worked briefly close to Dimitris (Takis) Darzenta. The photo-realistic and surrealistic works are in demand and collected in Greece and abroad. He has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions.
