Special Information for the Artist
1948: Born in Preveza.
1966-70: Studied painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence.
1970-74: Continued her studies in painting and engraving at the Byam Shaw School, painting at the City and Guilds of London Art School and interior design at Hammersmith-Chelsea in London.
1977: Together with nine other engravers she helped create the “Engravers” in Athens. They exhibit their work in Athens and many other Greek towns until 1980.
1985: Received First Prize for engraving from the School of “Fine Arts and Letters”.
1989: The group “Engraving Center" which exhibits in Greece and abroad was formed.
1997: Received First Prize for engraving from “Fine Arts and Letters”.
Her work can be found in the National Gallery of Greece in Athens, the Art Galleries of the Municipality of Rhodes, the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the Municipality of Agia Paraskevi as well as the Ministry of Culture, the Rethymnon centre for Contemporary Art, Kanakakis Art Gallery and in private collections in Greece and abroad.
